Update from our President – Noelle Parsons
With another very successful summer camp finished our team is ready to begin what will be an exciting and challenging year. Talents Within would like to attain an even bigger goal this year, with the possibility of opening up yet another camp session. This can only be done with more aggressive fundraising and of course more exposure of the name Talents Within. I am confident that we will do the best we can for the children. Our directors are an energetic and dynamic group and I look forward to working closely with them over the next year.

Update from the Camp Director

As the new Camp Director for Talents Within, I would just like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you how excited I am about the up coming summer programme! I have been a counsellor for Talents Within for the past two summers and I thoroughly enjoyed my position and I am now looking forward to taking on an even stronger leadership role. I truly believe that Talents Within
can have a positive influence on each camper’s life. It is amazing to see how the children develop their skills and explore new and exciting activities throughout the summer.

As most of you know, Talents Within holds a number of reunions throughout the year where directors, counsellors and campers come together and spend some time visiting and participating in fun activities. The winter session held on December 20, 2003
went very well as we continued to practice our skating and some of us even tried some stickhandling. It was so nice to see the campers' smiling faces once again! Everyone met in High Park and had a great time and enjoyed Paula’s freshly bakes cookies and steaming hot chocolate. I look forward to seeing the campers again at our next reunion on March 6, 2004!
